In the quietude of the Calcified Meridian, we witness the convergence of geological permanence and artistic fluidity. This artwork is not merely a visual object but a meditative anchor, drawing inspiration from the wabi-sabi tradition of embracing the imperfect and the ephemeral. It invites the viewer to pause, offering a "respite for the eyes" in a world of digital saturation. The composition—a dynamic interplay of drifting strata and calcified ridges—evokes the silent power of a coastal cliff face or the ancient memory of a dried riverbed, grounding your space in a profound sense of elemental history.

Defined by its extraordinary tactile quality, this piece is a triumph of "Atmospheric Sculpture." Master artisans hand-sculpt the surface using a proprietary blend of Imported Italian plaster, Mineral clays, and Fibrous organic binders. This heavy Impasto texture technique creates a deep, three-dimensional topography that stands in bold relief against the canvas. The surface is finished to mimic the matte, chalky texture of raw travertine, allowing the artwork to interact dynamically with the Raking light of your interior—shifting, evolving, and revealing new shadows as the sun moves across the room.

Designed as an architectural extension for the modern luxury residence, Calcified Meridian functions as a "quiet statement piece." Its monochromatic palette of alabaster, charcoal, and warm earth tones acts as a "light trap," softening the acoustics and visual noise of a room. Whether placed above a minimalist Minotti sofa or anchoring a Poliform dining system, the artwork introduces a layer of "heterogeneous" texture that is essential for the "Warm Minimalist" aesthetic. It transforms the wall from a passive boundary into an active element of the spatial experience.

The Craft & Materials

Authenticity is our only standard.

  • 100% Hand-Painted: Every piece is an original creation by our studio artists, not a machine print. We use heavy-body modeling paste and professional-grade acrylics to achieve our signature deep texture.
  • Gallery Canvas: Painted on heavy-duty, kiln-dried cotton canvas that is resistant to sagging.
  • Floating Frames: Our premium L-style frames are made from solid wood (or high-density composite for stability), creating a sophisticated shadow gap between the art and the frame.

Framing Explained

Elevate your art with our signature Floating Frames.

Unlike traditional frames that cover the edge of the painting, our L-Style Floating Frames create a sophisticated gap between the canvas and the frame. This gives the illusion that the artwork is "floating" inside, adding depth and shadow.

  • Option 1: Rolled Canvas: The artwork ships in a tube. You will need to stretch and frame it locally.
  • Option 2: Stretched (Ready to Hang): Gallery-wrapped over pine wood bars. Minimalist and clean.
  • Option 3: Gold Floating Frame (Recommended): The ultimate gallery look. A brushed gold finish that perfectly complements the warm tones of the texture. Arrives ready to hang.

Production & Shipping

Good art cannot be rushed.

Creation & Curing Process (2-3 Weeks):
Every Lura piece is 100% hand-sculpted with heavy texture. To ensure lasting durability, we require 14-21 days for painting, deep-drying, and the essential curing process. This ensures your artwork arrives solid and stable.

The "Lura" Approval:
You are the final curator. Once your piece is ready, we will email you a 4K photo/video of the finished artwork. We only ship after you reply "I love it."

Free Worldwide Shipping:
Once approved, we ship via DHL/FedEx/UPS Express (5-7 business days).

Secure Packaging:
Large artworks are shipped in custom-built wooden crates or reinforced hard tubes to guarantee they arrive in gallery condition.

Returns:
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If the artwork arrives damaged, we will replace it immediately.

Care Guide

Built to last a lifetime.

  • Dusting: Gently dust with a soft, dry brush or a feather duster. The texture is durable, but be gentle with the raised peaks.
  • No Liquids: Never use water, glass cleaner, or damp cloths on the canvas surface.
  • Placement: Avoid hanging in direct sunlight for prolonged periods or in high-humidity areas (like bathrooms) to preserve the archival quality.
