We used to paint for others. Now, for the soul
The "Ghosts" of the Industry
For 10 years, we were the invisible hands of the art world. You have likely seen our work in high-end galleries and luxury decor stores. We created thousands of paintings that sold for hundreds of dollars, but our names were never on them. We were just "the factory," churning out perfection for others. We had the skill, but we had no voice.
The Silent Hand
Then, everything changed. Our lead artist—we call him "The Silent Hand"—suffered an accident that took his arm. In an industry that demanded speed, he was forced to slow down.
He stopped caring about "copying an image" and started obsessing over the texture. He realized that modern wall art had become soulless flat prints. He wanted to feel the canvas again.
Why "Mura"?
In Japanese, Mura (斑) refers to irregularity and unevenness. Conventionally, it is a flaw. To us, it is the soul.
"Machines create perfection. Humans create Mura."
We decided to step out of the shadows. We rejected flat prints and assembly lines to embrace the ridges, the shadows, and the imperfections that only a human hand can create.
