White trunks interrupt a blaze of yellow, with dark bark marks making each birch distinct. Beside them, the lake opens into a broad stretch of clear blue: an unobstructed view past the busy bank to violet-blue mountains. There is a holiday-like brightness here, more crisp autumn afternoon than muted woodland.

Small red-orange flower marks are scattered through the golden grass, a detail that gives the shore its particular warmth. Close leaf dabs and upright stems keep that near bank lively; pale clouds and fine lines across the water let the rest of the landscape breathe. Birches by the Blue Lake offers a strong patch of colour for a sitting room or study, especially where a broad blue view would be welcome. The arrangement stays recognisable across hand-painted versions, while individual leaf clusters, bark marks and flower flecks take their own shapes.

Every Lura Studio artwork is painted and textured by hand to order. It is not a printed reproduction. Starting with a blank canvas, the artist builds the composition layer by layer, shaping the color, brushwork and raised surface for each piece.

Small variations in tone, texture and detail are a natural part of the handmade process. They are what make your artwork individual.

Framing Explained

Choose the finish that suits your space.

• Rolled Canvas: The artwork is shipped rolled in a protective tube. It will need to be stretched and framed locally.

• Gallery Wrapped: The canvas is stretched over wooden bars with wrapped edges and arrives ready to hang.

• Floating Frame: Available in wood, white, gold-toned or black. A slim gap between the canvas and frame adds definition without covering the painted edge. The artwork arrives ready to hang.

Production & Shipping

Made by hand, delivered with care.

Your artwork is painted and textured by hand to order. Production usually takes 7–15 calendar days.

Before dispatch, we’ll send photos or a short video of the finished piece for your review. If you use WhatsApp, leaving a WhatsApp-enabled phone number helps us reach you quickly. If we don’t hear back, we’ll send a reminder. To avoid an indefinite delay, we’ll carefully pack and dispatch your artwork seven days after the first preview if we still haven’t received a response.

Estimated delivery after dispatch:

  • United States & Canada: 4–7 business days
  • United Kingdom & Europe: 5–8 business days
  • Australia & New Zealand: 6–9 business days
  • Other available destinations: 7–14 business days

Orders delivered to the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany and Belgium include free shipping, taxes and duties. For other available destinations, shipping is calculated at checkout and local import charges may apply.

All large artworks are securely reinforced for transit. Artworks over 40 inches are shipped in reinforced wooden crates for added protection.

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible—ideally within 48 hours—and include clear photos or a short video of the artwork and packaging. We’ll work with you to resolve it.

Care Guide

Keep the texture looking its best.

• Dust gently with a soft, dry brush or feather duster.

• Do not use water, cleaning products or damp cloths on the painted surface.

• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and consistently high-humidity areas.

• When moving the artwork, hold it by the frame or outer edges and avoid pressing on the raised texture.
