Painting canvas

The foundation for every brushstroke. Choose rolled canvas if you prefer to arrange stretching and framing locally.

A 3 cm wooden stretcher

Your canvas is stretched over a wooden inner frame, 3 cm (approx. 1.18 in) deep, with no outer frame.

What is the difference between the finishes?

Rolled canvas needs stretching and framing locally. Gallery-wrapped canvas is already stretched over wooden bars. A floating frame adds an outer frame around the stretched artwork. Choose the finish and frame colour on the artwork page.

Not sure which size will work?

Measure the wall and nearby furniture, then mark out the artwork dimensions with removable tape. You can also send us a room photo and the wall measurements for guidance. Include your preferred width × height in centimetres or inches.

Find your size.

Start with the wall you have in mind. Measure its available width and height, including the space around furniture, switches and lights.

Mark the artwork size with removable tape to see the proportion. Our artwork sizes are written as width × height, with both centimetres and inches. The outer frame adds to the finished dimensions.

For a personal recommendation, send us a room photo, wall measurements and the piece you are considering.
